Your individual phone may already have software preinstalled to allow it to more easily coexist with Microsoft. There is no perfect solution, but not even Microsoft's own mobile platform provides support for every Office desktop software feature.

If you select the right software tools and web apps, you can preview, download, and even edit Microsoft Office files. Files are generally saved on your SD card, so using a file-browsing app like ES File Explorer helps you better manage the content and send it as an e-mail attachment. Both Google and Microsoft have web-based solutions for viewing word processing documents online, and Evernote provides a fantastic alternative to OneNote. Most solutions only allow you to preview Office files, but Documents To Go also allows you to edit and save files.
