In addition to these applications, YouTube is available for your G1. You can aggregate all these applications into a single page on the Web, iGoogle. To learn more about what applications are available and what you can do with those applications, go to www.google.com/intl/ en/options/.

You can also change the calendar view by picking a date on the Month view, or a day on the Week view. Long-press that date to open a menu that shows view options and enables you to add a new event. We return to the event-adding option in the next section ("Adding Events") of this chapter.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could jump back to today's date when you're done jumping around any of the date views in the Calendar? You can. Just press the Menu button and then touch Today in the menu that appears. That brings you back to the current date in the same view.

In the Month view, days with appointments have a green indicator line to the right side of the date box, as shown in Figure 4.5. This line might show up at the top, at the bottom, in the middle, or broken into several places along the line. That indicates the rough time of day that the appointment appears on your calendar. If it's at the top, it's in the morning or all day. If it's at the bottom, that indicates afternoon or evening, and in the middle is (of course) the middle of the day. Broken lines indicate multiple appointments.
